Conferences deforestation Problem in Somalia Institute for Somali Studies (ISOS) organized an academic conference on The Deforestation Problem in Somalia: Causes, Consequences, and Solutions, on April 17, 2014, the Somali National Day of planting trees. Numerous scholars and experts presented papers on this issue, and raised bundle of recommendations to handle this problem.
