The 3rd Annual Conference on Somali Studies – ACSOS2017 has been successfully completed in Mogadishu, Somalia. The conference took place in 28-30 November 2017 under the theme of “Revisiting War-torn Somali Society: Resilience and Recovery”and participated by academics, researchers, practitioners, public figures and civil society activists.

The annual conference on Somali studies is an academic conference launched on 2014 and provides a platform for scholars to explore deeply in significant topics with special consideration of the issues which are critical to the recovery and rebuilding of Somalia, a country emerging from a devastating civil war.
