ISOS organized Cilmiwadaag Platform on “Somali customary law” presented by Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed Ali on 29 August 2019.

Mr Ibrahim discussed the components of the Somali customary law and pointed out its different ‘articles’.

Several dozens of scholars attended the program and contributed with their comments and questions effectively.

Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed Ali is an author and expert in Somali culture and customary law, particularly “Xeer Ciise” and is a member of Center for Studies and Research of Djibouti (CERD).

He authored, with ohers, two printed books “KAB DHEXEEYE (Sooyaalka Xeer Ciise), Jabuuti, 2016” and “CIRMAALKA BURAAD (Sooyaalka Xiddigiska Soomaalida), Jabuuti, 2018”
