The 6th Annual Conference on Somali Studies (ACSOS2020) has been successfully completed. The conference was held online in 03-07 December 2020 under the theme of “The Moment of Crisis: Persistence & Insights”.
The conference consisted of 10 sessions within five days during which three keynote speeches, 24 paper and panel presentations were presented by academics and researchers from universities, research centers, civil society organizations and government officials.
The virtual meeting brought together academics from ten cities around the globe.
The Annual Conference on Somali Studies (ACSOS) is an academic conference launched in April 2014 and is organized annually by the institute for Somali Studies.
