The Institute for Somali Studies (ISOS) is proud to once again be recognized by University of Pennsylvania’s 2020 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report as one of the top think tanks in Sub-Saharan Africa.

This significant honor marks the 3rd consecutive year in this category.

The rankings, compiled by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program  (TTCSP) of the University of Pennsylvania, were officially launched on 28 January 2021.

ISOS is a research center within Mogadishu University. It promotes analysis of key and contemporary issues and developments in Somalia, Horn of Africa, and the Somali communities in abroad. It focuses on issues which are critical to the recovery and rebuilding of Somalia.
