The 8th Annual Conference on Somali Studies (ACSOS2021) is launched in Mogadishu. It is organized by the Institute for Somali Studies at Mogadishu University. This conference will last three days, 07-09/12/2021, and will be attended by academics, scholars and researchers from Universities, research centers and civil society organizations. The theme of this year is “knowledge & development”.
This conference consists of three categories of activities: physical sessions in Mogadishu, virtual sessions on zoom and Facebook LIVE in the evening, and student poster presentations. The conference will feature nearly 20 studies in different fields.
