Somali Studies: A Peer-Reviewed Academic Journalfor Somali Studies is a broad scope multidisciplinary academic journal devotes to Somali studies; published annually by the Institute for Somali Studies at Mogadishu University. It is the first of its kind issued from Somalia.
Somali Studies saccepts scholarly works in different areas and disciplines on Somalia, Horn of Africa, and the Somali diaspora communities around the world. Somali Studies invites submissions fromall scholars and researchers, both within and outside of Horn of Africa.
Somali Studies appreciates papers exploring the historical background or navigating the contemporary issues; special consideration will be given to issues which are critical to the recovery and rebuilding of Somalia, a country emerging from a devastating civil war.
